Is our organization transparent?
Yes, as a 501(c)3 we file yearly tax returns with both the IRS and the state of Texas. In addition, we will gladly sit down with any donor or supported missionary and review either overall financial statements or their individual transactions and accounts.
How much of my donation directly supports the cause?
All donations are subject to a 2% administration fee to cover out of pocket costs. Credit card donations are subject to an additional 3% to cover credit card processing fees. No individuals working with Thousand Hills will benefit from either of these fees as the fees will only cover actual out of pocket costs for maintaining the website and processing donations with any excess allocated amongst trips being supported that period.
